Le Silence des Masques in the official selection at Africinéma Occitanie 2026

Le Silence des Masques continues its festival journey with an official selection in France. Produced by RS PROD, the feature film was selected for the official competition of the sixth edition of Africinéma Occitanie, Montpellier’s International African Film Festival.

The film was screened on Saturday, 3 October 2026 at 11:40 a.m., at Salle Rabelais in Montpellier, during the day dedicated to the official competition.

Shot in Côte d’Ivoire’s Sud-Comoé region, notably in Soumié, Affiénou and Samo, Le Silence des Masques combines a mystical thriller with African traditions. Beliefs, secrets and collective memory are central to its world.

This presentation in Montpellier marks another step in the film’s journey in France. RS PROD continues to develop its festival run and its relationships with film professionals and distribution partners.
